By the way, I am planning to write a more detailed analysis of the extraordinary document ‘The Kitchen Front’, mentioned in this post. It’s amusing in itself, but also very revealing of some of the tensions over ‘who owned’ Bletchley Park and its product – the political turf wars between GC & CS, the War Office, SIS, The Admiralty and others.
